The Senate has approved the Bipartisan Budget of 2013. The Bill is headed to the President's desk for signing. The vote was 64-36. 12 Republicans sided with the Democrats to pass the act. The house and senate will now start working on the Federal Debt ceiling. No employment extensions were included in the budget act. Democrats plan to bring up the employment extension Bill when congress returns in January. More than 1.3 million people will run out of their extensions by December 28, 2013.
