Facism on the rise in American

The greatest threat to American democracy is coming from far-right extremist elements within the party of Lincoln. Far-right extremist groups have always existed in both political parties but were unable to gain complete control over the party's apparatus until the presidency of Donald Trump. During the Civil War In 1865, democracy was threatened by southern slaveholders who were attempting to defend social and cultural norms associated with slavery; it survived by working out a compromise with former slaveholders. As Americans, we all need to pay close attention to this dangerous trend in the Republican Party because it has similar aspects associated with Nazism in Germany prior to the rise Adolf Hitler. Totalitarian states do not develop overnight, but gradually. Hitler came to power in Germany after losing several political battles. In 1933, he was appointed Chancellor by President Paul Von Hindenburg through a series of parliamentary elections associated with backroom intrigues. After being appointed Chancellor, he began slowly outlawing and smashing democratic institutions. Politicians and businessmen sought appeasement rather than fight to protect democratic institutions. After gaining complete control over the state, Hitler began transforming the German state into a war economy with the intent of conquering Europe for the benefit of the so-called Aryan race. The threat to democracy today is mainly due to naturally occurring demographic changes which some Americans view as a threat to their way of living. Many people voted for Donald Trump because he was able to articulate and develop a political platform based on that fear. They viewed Donald Trump as the “The Great White Hope”. Forty percent of American public will continue to support him If he continues to articulate their fear of the future. After Trump became president, he gave many of them positions in his government. Steve Miller, who was an open white supremacist, were given a position as speech written and advisor. Racist organizations like the Proud Boys, and the KKK and many others developed an open public profile. Most historians agree that if Trump had not been defeated in the last election, American Democracy might have not survived. Even though Trump is no longer in office, party leaders are still pledging their allegiance to him. They are continuing to purge all moderate members who refuse to buy into the lie that the democrats did not win the last election. Everyone knows he organized and led the January 6 assault on the capital, yet both parties are unable to agree to some type of commission to investigate the January 6 assault on the capitol. Republicans are continuing to spread the lie and using it as an excuse to continue their attack on the electoral process. Democracy cannot exist if people are not given equal access to the ballot box. The absent of democracy will eventually lead to social unrest. It is extremely important that we get organize and push back against far-right extremism in American society. We cannot rely on politicians or the media to push back, we must do it ourselves. The American First Movement is a threat to Democracy

The American First Movement is a threat to Democracy
Politicians promoting far-right extremist ideas such as the American First Movement have found fertile ground in the Republican Party. These extremist movements have always existed in the swamp areas of the country since the end of the Civil War in 1865. What is more disturbing today is that they are running candidates which are winning elections and implementing policies which threatens democracy. For anyone interested in the program, the full 7-page document can be found at: https://punchbowl.news/.../America-First-Caucus-Policy.... Far-right extremist who are behind the American First Movement claimed to be promoting ideas which Donald Trump supported during his presidency. Many ideas contained in the document are associated with Trump’s Make America Great Again Campaign”. Even though Trump is no longer in office, the ideas which he promoted will continue to threaten Democracy as they take root in local and national governmental bodies. The ideas contained in the American First Caucus are quote: “America First Caucus recognizes that our country is more than a mass of consumers or a series of abstract ideas. America is a nation with borders, and culture, strengthened by a common respect for unique Anglo-Saxon political traditions. History has shown that societal trust and political unity are threaten when foreign citizens are imported in mass into a country, particularly without institutional support for assimilation and financial interest groups benefit immensely from mass immigration, legal as well as illegal, and the aggregate output of the country increases, the reality of large segments of our society as well as the long-term existential future of America as unique culture and uniquely identity being put at unnecessary risk is something our leaders cannot afford to ignore no longer". As stated above, many demographic changes taking place in American society is making a segment of white American feel threatened. According to statistical analysis, America will no longer be a predominantly White Society by 2050. Estimated population in the United according to United Nation data 2021 was around 332,410,303. The United States Census Bureau estimated our population at around 328,239, 553 in 2019 with an unofficial statistical adjustment to 329,484,123 on July 1, 2020. These totals do not include self-governing territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands and some minor island possessions. Foreign-born immigration has led to an increase in U.S. population. It has doubled from 20 million in 1990 to over 45 million in 2015 which represented one-third of the population increase. The growth is fastest among minorities. According to the United States Census Bureau, 50% of the children under the age of 18 are members of ethnic minority groups. Donald Trump was able to develop a political platform which used demographics to convince whites that they would lose political and economic power if they did not stop immigration from Third World Counties. It is important to note here that his immigration policies did not target people coming from European countries. President Trump was able to put together a group of people such as Stephen Miller, (speech writer) and Steve Bannon (advisor to the president) to put forward an election strategy which got him elected. They convinced a large segment of the white population that their way of living was being threatened by minorities in the US who were promoting anti-American philosophies. Trump personally sent his sons in deep red southern states to organize not only traditional Republicans, but members of many hate organizations such as the “KKK”, “Proud Boys”, “Don’t Tread on Me” and many others. David Duke (the Grand Wizard of the KKK) said that it was the first time they were willing to support a president they could trust. He urged all his members to work and help get Trump elected. People like Marjorie Taylor Green (U.S. House Of Representatives from Georgia’s 14th district), an open White Supremacist was able to win her election by promoting Trump racist theory in Georgia. She along with others have gain key positions in the Republican Party. The assault on the capital on June 6, 2021 was a direct assault on American Democracy. According to recent polls, many Republicans did not agree that the assault represented a grave threat to American democracy. Some have even entertained the lie that it was members of left organizations who assaulted the capital. Their party representatives are currently attempting to block any serious investigation into who led and planned the assault. It is somewhat strange for them trying to figure out who was responsible for the assault when we know that it was Donald Trump who plan and led the assault on the capitol. In many totalitarian countries which Trump claimed to support, would have arrested him on spot and hanged him if he attempted to overthrow their government. Because most of his supporters are white, they were allowed to peacefully leave the capital and go back home. Some even went on vacation and bragged about the assault. He along with his thugs are working to undermined local and national electoral boards so they can control who wins the next election. Some have published white papers which called on the party to organize thousands of white supremacist thugs to harass black and minority voters at the polls. Progressive forces should continue to organize and be prepared to counter all attempts to undermine the electoral process by any means necessary. I know some will disagree with some of the ideas contained in this essay and that is OK, no problem. Let' start a conversation and attempt to arrive at what is truth, not fiction. I am not a faultless writer, so please excuse any improper use of the King’s English. Writing is about communicating clear and concise ideas and I think I have done that here.

Trump's Racist Attack on Black Congresswomens

Deep racial divisions has always existed in American. This weekend with a tweet, Donald Trump said: "So interesting to see 'progressive Democrat congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful nation on earth, how our government is to be run....and further...why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came".
Congresswomen IIhan Omar came to the US as a refugee at aged 12, but congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley were all born in this country.
Donald Trump is voicing a view which many racist groups has held for many years: "If you don't like America and want to criticize it, then you should go back to Africa or Latin America or wherever you came from".
Most older blacks who was brought up in the 1960's have experience blatant racism, so they are not as shock when we see people saying things in public which has always been said behind doors. Young minorities which has been brought up in a society where institutional racism has been couch in patriotic slogans and terms are sometimes confused or unable to handle blatant racism. Most of us who care about this country will have to work overtime to keep this country from being consumed by racial violence.

Robert Mueller Speaks to the Nation

Robert Mueller just stated that according to the constitution, the special counsel could not charge a sitting president with a crime. He made it quite clear that he could not clear the president of a crime. He left the decision up to congress to determine whether the president committed a crime. Congress has several legal options which include impeachment. Congress needs to get off their fannies and call for impeachment hearings to determine whether they have enough evidence to charge the president with a crime. Failure to do so, would eventually call into question role of congress and the executive branch.

Cost of Trump's Golf trips

Check out the cost of this man's golf trips. He is ripping off the taxpayers who he claim to care about . $81 million for his 61 days at his golf courses in Florida, $17 million for his 58 days at his New Jersey resort, $1 million for him to visit his club in Los Angeles, and $3 million to tack a trip to his Scottish golf course onto a visit to London.

Telling Lies

There is and old sayings: If you tell a lie often enough, people will begin to believe it. Don't get caught up in Trump's lies, time to start impeachment hearing.

Hitler Was Incompetent and Lazy—and His Nazi Government Was an Absolute Clown Show | Opinion

The below is an excerpt from HUMANS: A Brief History of How We F*cked It All Up by Tom Phillips.
Look, I know what you’re thinking. Putting Hitler in a book about the terrible mistakes we’ve made as a species isn’t exactly the boldest move ever. "Oh wow, never heard of him, what a fascinating historical nugget" is something you’re probably not saying right now.
But beyond him being (obviously) a genocidal maniac, there’s an aspect to Hitler’s rule that kind of gets missed in our standard view of him. Even if popular culture has long enjoyed turning him into an object of mockery, we still tend to believe that the Nazi machine was ruthlessly efficient, and that the great dictator spent most of his time…well, dictating things.
So it’s worth remembering that Hitler was actually an incompetent, lazy egomaniac and his government was an absolute clown show.
In fact, this may even have helped his rise to power, as he was consistently underestimated by the German elite. Before he became chancellor, many of his opponents had dismissed him as a joke for his crude speeches and tacky rallies. Even after elections had made the Nazis the largest party in the Reichstag, people still kept thinking that Hitler was an easy mark, a blustering idiot who could easily be controlled by smart people.
Why did the elites of Germany so consistently underestimate Hitler? Possibly because they weren’t actually wrong in their assessment of his competency—they just failed to realise that this wasn’t enough to stand in the way of his ambition. As it would turn out, Hitler was really bad at running a government. As his own press chief Otto Dietrich later wrote in his memoir The Hitler I Knew, "In the twelve years of his rule in Germany Hitler produced the biggest confusion in government that has ever existed in a civilized state."
His government was constantly in chaos, with officials having no idea what he wanted them to do, and nobody was entirely clear who was actually in charge of what. He procrastinated wildly when asked to make difficult decisions, and would often end up relying on gut feeling, leaving even close allies in the dark about his plans. His "unreliability had those who worked with him pulling out their hair," as his confidant Ernst Hanfstaengl later wrote in his memoir Zwischen Weißem und Braunem Haus. This meant that rather than carrying out the duties of state, they spent most of their time in-fighting and back-stabbing each other in an attempt to either win his approval or avoid his attention altogether, depending on what mood he was in that day.
There’s a bit of an argument among historians about whether this was a deliberate ploy on Hitler’s part to get his own way, or whether he was just really, really bad at being in charge of stuff. Dietrich himself came down on the side of it being a cunning tactic to sow division and chaos—and it’s undeniable that he was very effective at that. But when you look at Hitler’s personal habits, it’s hard to shake the feeling that it was just a natural result of putting a workshy narcissist in charge of a country.

Hitler was incredibly lazy. According to his aide Fritz Wiedemann, even when he was in Berlin he wouldn’t get out of bed until after 11 a.m., and wouldn’t do much before lunch other than read what the newspapers had to say about him, the press cuttings being dutifully delivered to him by Dietrich.
He was obsessed with the media and celebrity, and often seems to have viewed himself through that lens. He once described himself as "the greatest actor in Europe," and wrote to a friend, "I believe my life is the greatest novel in world history." In many of his personal habits he came across as strange or even childish—he would have regular naps during the day, he would bite his fingernails at the dinner table, and he had a remarkably sweet tooth that led him to eat "prodigious amounts of cake" and "put so many lumps of sugar in his cup that there was hardly any room for the tea."
He was deeply insecure about his own lack of knowledge, preferring to either ignore information that contradicted his preconceptions, or to lash out at the expertise of others. He hated being laughed at, but enjoyed it when other people were the butt of the joke (he would perform mocking impressions of people he disliked). But he also craved the approval of those he disdained, and his mood would quickly improve if a newspaper wrote something complimentary about him.
Little of this was especially secret or unknown at the time. It’s why so many people failed to take Hitler seriously until it was too late, dismissing him as merely a "half-mad rascal" or a "man with a beery vocal organ." In a sense, they weren’t wrong. In another, much more important sense, they were as wrong as it’s possible to get.
Hitler’s personal failings didn’t stop him having an uncanny instinct for political rhetoric that would gain mass appeal, and it turns out you don’t actually need to have a particularly competent or functional government to do terrible things.
We tend to assume that when something awful happens there must have been some great controlling intelligence behind it. It’s understandable: how could things have gone so wrong, we think, if there wasn’t an evil genius pulling the strings? The downside of this is that we tend to assume that if we can’t immediately spot an evil genius, then we can all chill out a bit because everything will be fine.
But history suggests that’s a mistake, and it’s one that we make over and over again. Many of the worst man-made events that ever occurred were not the product of evil geniuses. Instead they were the product of a parade of idiots and lunatics, incoherently flailing their way through events, helped along the way by overconfident people who thought they could control them.

Black Women Win all Three Beauty Contest For The First Time in History

We already know that Black is beautiful, but for the first time in history the top beauty pageants in the country have simultaneously elevated this truth. Three Black women are currently wearing crowns as the 2019 Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss America.
When Cheslie Kryst’s name was announced as Miss USA on Thursday she completed the historic trio with pageant winners 2019 Miss America Nia Franklin and recently crowned 2019 Miss Teen USA Kaliegh Garris.

Kryst, who represents North Carolina, is a civil litigation attorney who received her law degree and MBA from Wake Forest University.
People across social media marveled at Kryst’s natural hair and noticed that both she and Garris bypassed any form of hair straightening.
Garris told Refinery21 that while some people tried to convince her to straighten her hair for the Miss Teen USA competition, she opted for her natural curls because when she’s wearing them, she feels confident. The Connecticut native is still in high school but plans to attend Southern Connecticut State University’s nursing program as she plans to become a trauma nurse in the future.

Franklin represented New York and holds a master's degree in music composition from UNC School of the Arts. She is an opera singer and an advocate for arts advocacy.
In 2012 Black women simultaneously wore crowns as Miss Teen USA and Miss USA.
Congratulations to these 2019 beauty queens. Together they exude beauty, brains and Black girl magic!
We’ll be tuning in later this year when Kryst represents the United States in the Miss Universe competition.

My comments: I have always regarded beauty contest as a waste of America’s time because they tended to focus too much attention on cosmetics as oppose to a women’s personal qualities. As the saying goes: “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. What one might find as beautiful may not be my idea of beauty.
Over the years, the pageants started to focus more attention on the contestant’s personal qualities as oppose to cosmetics. Never the less, historically, these contestant winners have mostly been white; thus, promoting an image of white women and men as being the personification of beauty in America. But we need to ask why this is now happening at a time when our community has once again come under attack because of our skin color.

Some might agree or disagree, but here is my analysis of why this is happening now. It is associated with “White Guilt”. White men and women who are responsible for determining the winners of these contest are trying to send a message to people around the world; see, we are not so bad because we allow beautiful black women to win contests that were once only open to white women. This does not tarnish our image as a beauty people because we have always considered our women and men beautiful in the eyes of God.  Let’s thanks them for the honor of recognizing our beautiful women while we continue our struggle for equality in America.
