Here are several reasons why you should vote on 2014 and participate in non-violent activities.
Most young and minority people usually don’t vote during the mid-terms. I have been guilty of the same practice. The Republican Party knows that young people and minorities don’t vote during the mid-terms and this is the reason they are pushing their right-wing agenda early this year.
Here are several reasons why we can’t afford to set out this election. A group of powerful corporate heads is funding extreme right wing groups who are taking over local governments. Their agenda is to privatize social security, eliminate unemployment insurance, and keep blacks and minorities away from the polls through voter suppression.
Here in Florida they are passing legislation which allows students to take guns on campus and changing voting procedures. If we all set on our fannies, we are going to wake up one day and find that we are living in a dictatorship and have no democratic rights. Some members of the corporate community are advancing the idea that our votes should be based on how much property we own. Corporate heads such as the Koch brothers, National Rifle Association are funding groups such as the Americans for Prosperity, the Tea party, and extreme racist groups to push their agenda. Please don’t listen to silly people talking about we have no reason to go out and vote or speak-out. Study and research the issues for yourself and make up your own mind. I am not pushing the idea that voting along will solve our problems because we also need non-violent protest to let the politicians know we don't support their extremist agenda. Inclosing, this has nothing to do about the racist attacks on President Obama because he has done as much as he can do, it is all about us. As we get close to November you will get several messages about the importance to vote on November 2014. Have a great day my face book friends.
