James Foley was a foreign journalist who was covering the civil war in Syria. Prior to working in Syria, he covered the civil wars in Afghanistan and Libya. He was adducted in Syria around November 2012 when his car was stopped by four armed men. He was 40 years old. He said that he loved writing and reporting stories and had no fear of working in dangerous war zones. He was beheaded by the terrorist group associated with ISSA. (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria).
Terrorism is a political strategy based on fear and intimidation. It is the absent of a political strategy which relies on developing democratic organizations which reflect the will of the people. Once the majority of people in Syria and Iraq loose their fear of groups like ISSA, they will pushed them in the back bends of history.
