The refusal of the Grand Jury to indict Darren Wilson for shooting Michael Brown in cold blood has emboldened the Ferguson Police department. The Police are stopping and threatening local people who are engaging in peaceful protest. One local Rapper T-Dubbs-O who is working to bring about positive change in Ferguson was stop by the police after leaving T J Friday. The police put a 40 caliber to his head and ordered him to the ground. The lady who he was driving with also had a gun put to her head. He asked the police why he was being stopped. The police told him that if he did not shut-up, people would have another reason to protest. He was not charged with any crime and was allow to leave the scene. Activist T-Dubbs-O also told Ed Schultz on MSNBC that he and others had received several threats from local KKK members and was concerned why three trucks were following them.
Several members of the KKK told Chris Hayes on MSNBC News that they have several friends in the police department and that they were prepared to defend their community. The group “Anonymous” hacked the website of the KKK and exposed several members associated with the organization. Also, the church of Michael Brown Sr. was also suspiciously burned down. The police claim they are conducting an investigation.
Attorney General Holder should conduct an extensive investigation of the Ferguson Police Department. Any police officer who has direct or indirect relationships with the KKK should be fired. The situation in Ferguson is spiraling dangerously out of control. We have a right to defend ourselves against extremist organizations. If the police, the Justice Department or the Obama Administration cannot protect Blacks and other minorities while engaging in peaceful protect, we have a right to defend ourselves.
